Figure Baby is classy. More than porn, this is genuine erotica. The girls do full nudity in just about every instance, but there's nothing remotely vulgar about it. The photos and videos here seem to be celebrating the beauty of the female form and real women more than exploiting their sexuality. That isn't to say that the sexuality of these girls isn't coursing through each and every photograph and video frame. It's just handled in a way that that elevates it beyond the sort of kitsch material you typically find at porn sites.

Most sets star just one model, and she is posing and stripping out of some sort of garb, from sexy lingerie to sports uniforms to just comfy pajamas. The settings and situations the girls are in are themed in most cases, and the personality of each model is communicated very well. When it comes to nude erotica, Figure Baby definitely has artistic mettle.

Tech Talk

There are both photo and video galleries at Figure Baby. The photos are the highlight to be sure. They come in three sizes, small, normal and big. The big photos are 1600x2400 pixels. The normal are still quite large at 1067x1600 pixels. The images are large, crisp high resolution photographs. The artistic direction is fantastic--great lighting and angles and the 'situations' the girls are in are all well planned and executed. You can browse through galleries online and view that at all sizes, or download them in all sizes in a zip files. Most sets average around 80 pictures.

The movies come in equally stunning settings. There are 720p HD downloads in Windows Media and QuickTime formats. The WMVs have a 1280x720 resolution and 6.84 mbps bit rate, the QuickTime files offer a smooth 30 FPS rate. You can also grab them in iPod-ready MP4 files that have a 640x480 pixel resolution at 1.10mbps bit rate. You can stream Flash videos online as well, but they have a small resolution and are poorest of the media options provided.

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

Figure Baby is a high class site with high brow erotica. The level of skill being demonstrated on the artistic front is comparable to other big name photographers shooting in the niche, but there is a twist here. The site is all about real, amateur girls. These aren't only gorgeous uniform models. There is more variety here -- some of the models are pretty, and some have particularly lovely features like big natural tits or perky round asses. Most are just average girls. That's what the site is all about celebrating though, drawing out their natural personalities and showing the beauty in their curvy bodies. If you're only interested in beautiful models as defined by the mainstream, the style of this site may not fit in well with you.

The only area I think this site could improve is with the navigation--give us a search tool! I'd like to be able to browse by model types or specific qualities, like boob size or hair color. Right now we can only browse by date, videos-only, photos-only or my models' headshots.
