The technical aspects are not very uniform. None of the websites, save for Fetish Club, have standard photographs. There are screen shots, but not every website has screen those, either. The ones that do have around three to four pages of thumbnails. These video stills are 600x400px. They cannot be downloaded in a zip archive but they can be watched as a slide show.

Most websites have two video options: hi and low bandwidth. They can be streamed or downloaded. Some high-bandwidth movies stream at 720x500px in Flash Player, Windows Media Player at 445x420px and QuickTime MOVs at 445x350px. The file types will vary from site to site, not all three are included for every video.

Some downloadable high-bandwidth formats are MPG file that are 600x400px and run at 1.69Mbps, WMVs that are 460x348px and run at 1.16Mbps and MOVs that are 460x345px and run at 1.06Mbps.

The low-bandwidth videos stream in Flash Player at 360x260px, and WMVs and MOVs that are slightly smaller than their high-bandwidth counterparts. Their downloadable formats are MPGs that are 500x332px and run at 1.05Mbps, WMVs that are 352x264px and run at 527Kbps, and MOVs that are 359x269px and run at 440Kbps.

In general the video quality isn't all that spectacular, and the lack of a uniform set of options and formats is a bit of a hassle. Still, the media looks good, just not as great as I would have hoped.

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

The fetish community definitely has niches that interest me. To be honest, I was quite unsure where to start since the network consisted of thirty-three websites. I will mention some episodes that stuck out during my visit.
