Bettie Page Star is definitely not affiliated with the late Ms. Page - a quick glance at the site's dated and garish graphic design confirms that fact. Further confirmation comes from the site's lack of high-res content; everything found here is rather small, pixelated, and appears to be as old as the internet itself (some pictures even have watermarks from other websites on them).

There are 31 image galleries currently online, each of which holds around 50 photos. The resolution of each photo varies wildly, as all pics have been culled from a variety of sources. 841x1503 is the highest-res photo I found on the site; in general, resolutions hover around 600x800 or less. None of the galleries can be downloaded as zip files; they can, however, be viewed as slideshows. Although Ms. Page DID film movies during her reign as the Queen of Pinups, photos are the only things available here.

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

Now, don't get me wrong - I love me some Bettie Page. I think she's gorgeous, fun, and one of the best (if not the best) pinup models that's ever existed. That being said, Bettie Page Star is not a fitting tribute to her. All of the site's image "sets" are simply mish-mashes of photos that have been pulled from miscellaneous sessions and years. Some are in color, some in black and white; some are fetish snaps, while others are straight cheesecake.

The same images are repeated over and over, sometimes within the same sets. The quality of the images also leaves much to be desired. Multiple pics are just photographs of photographs! It's quite telling that the pictures found on Ms. Page's Wikipedia page are also available on this site; it drives home the point that these images can be found all over the 'net for free. Don't waste your dough.
