What's not to like about classic porn! Back then, the women usually had all natural breasts, with a fair amount having some pubic hair. And the men were men; no metro sexual sissy boys posing as ladies' men here.

Like porn of today, classic porn features all the hardcore action you want to see. And Classic Porn Scenes really delivers on that, amassing a collection of scenes from some of the popular porn movies of the 70s and 80s. Even today's generation of porn fans will recognize many of the names featured in these movies, such as Nina Hartley, Ron Jeremy, and Peter North. You'll also recognize even more of those hot faces (and bodies) of yesteryear, doing what they do best.

The videos inside Classic Porn Scenes all feature hardcore straight sex, though sometimes you might see some fetish and bdsm action. The videos themselves are very good quality in that the site isn't just putting up scenes from the 70s and 80s to fill up space. The scenes translate well to today's porn viewing and don't seem dated; they're every bit as hot as they were back then!

Tech Talk

There are around 200 movies that you can stream or download in Flash, AVI, or iPhone (M4v) format. The tour's sign up page indicates that Windows Media and HD Quality video formats would be available, but I didn't see them at all. Hopefully, since the site is new, they just haven't gotten around to putting these classic porn scenes in those formats, but they shouldn't indicate they have those formats unless they do.

At any rate, the videos play in good quality screens that open to different sizes, such as 512x384 (approx. file size of 21 MB); 576x432 (approx. 67 MB) or 460x320 (approx. 42 MB). Considering these scenes were from movies made in the 1970s and 1980s, I'm especially impressed with the quality. It's better than some current sites! The sound quality is also very good, so you can hear the story lines or those erotic moans and groans.

Despite what was indicated on the tour's sign up page, there are no zip downloadable photo sets. In fact, there are no photo sets at all. Perhaps the excuse is that the site is new, so let's hope they get to that promise straightaway!

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

Despite a couple of the tour promises broken, I really like this site. I've seen several classic porn sites, but this site is very impressive. I like how easy it is to navigate, and I recognize a lot of the porn stars. That's actually saying something, considering I didn't look at porn in the 1970s and 1980s since I was too young then. But I definitely recognize many of the names and faces. This is refreshing, compared to some classic porn sites that seem to clog their sites full of obscure names and unrecognizable faces just to be able to say they have a lot of content.

And speaking of content, I'm impressed with the Classic Porn Scenes site in that they have a huge archive built up - approximately 200 videos and growing. Sure, that might sound like a normal site that's been online for awhile, but the first update on this site was in November, 2010! Such generous updating shows that they intend to stay around for quite a while and want to offer their very first members a huge archive to enjoy. Lately, the site has been offering regular daily updates, which is certainly a perk to any members' area!
