Gonzo porn is as real and raw as it gets in adult. They don't use scripts here and the girls will just as soon talk to the camera guy as the other that's fucking them from behind. It's a really open format and the frank sexuality of the girls is half of the excitement. While all of the movies at Devil's Film fit into this category, they also fall under dozens of others. You'll see that many movies have an "HD" badge on them, but before you get excited this does not mean the movie has a true high definition viewing option. Instead, it means that movie was only "filmed in HD". In practice these "HD" movies have a slightly larger resolution than non-HD (older) updates and a clearer, more color-rich playback.

Movies can be streamed online instantly from start to finish in an embedded Flash video player. It has a great quality playback at a 960x540 pixel resolution. The player lets you skip ahead or go back as you like and loads very quickly. You can save full length copies of scenes in Windows Media format. The HQ option is a 720x400 pixel resolution with a 2 mbits/s bit rate. It looks as good as the streaming video if not as large.

There were picture galleries to sort through and these average around 100-150 pictures each. The images are high resolution and high quality. They are much more than screen grabs of the movies, though they are very similar to the scenes that they come from. You can download galleries in zip files if you want to save an entire set to your hard drive.

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

Devil's Film is your average DVD archive in some respects but there are important differences. For starters, they don't throw up just any DVD but the movies that they've produced themselves. Being a top quality film house, that bodes well for the end-user, and also makes their collection a semi-exclusive one. You can count on a certain level of quality and a certain star caliber from future updates and deep into the back catalogue, and I like having that assurance.

The site made a mistake by flaunting the "HD" quality on the tour as well as in the members area. If it isn't 1280x720 pixels or 1920x1080 pixels in resolution, it cannot be high def, and porn viewers in 2011 know the difference now. Their movies look great and I see no reason to exaggerate, but I think in this case it's more of a case of not being clear: the movies are filmed in HD, from what I gather, but they aren't really specific about that. I'd drop the HD references all together if I were them until movies were available to members in high def.

For a DVD studio navigation is important, especially one as large as Devil's Film and here they hit a home run. You can browse by pictures, scenes, DVDs, and porn stars. You can use dozens of categories to sort by (anal, big tits, open mouth facial, cream pie, hairy pussy, etc) and then further arrange results by date, popularity, and times viewed. Though the library is large, they make it very easy to rifle through and find what you're looking for quickly.
