Porn Talk

Wicked has a lot of money available to invest in its talent and productions - and it shows. These guys have the means to put together well-produced porn parodies like "Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody" as well as top-quality hardcore and reality porn DVDs. They also have the the cash to get the top talent, many of their girls even agreeing to exclusive terms with the studio (Jessica Drake, among others). If there is a hot model out there, Wicked brings them in for some action. You'll find babes like Lisa Ann and Brianna Banks, as well as younger, new talents like Lizz Tayler, Briana Blair, April O'Neil and Lupe Fuentes. There are 1,000 total models here.

Hardcore sex is the standard here, with the scenarios, stories and details making the DVDs stand out from each other. A theme might be around a type of girl (18-23, MILF), or around group sex or anal sex, for example. You will see some anal here, some double penetration, and plenty of lesbian sex. What you won't see much of is anything too kinky or fetishy. This is a solid, hardcore porn star DVD company and that's just what you can expect out of their collection: hardcore with porn stars, most of them with big tits.

ALl of the scenes on the site come from their various DVD titles, besides the live content, nothing here is produced especially for the web.

Tech Talk

Wicked has added a new 1080p HD download format since our last visit. This is an MP4 file with a 1920x1080 screen (6 mbits) that has a great quality playback. It might be just a little less clear than the best HD downloads I've come across, though. You still have the same download options besides: a 720p HD MP4 with a 1280x720 screen (5 mbits), a DVD quality MP4 with a 640x480 screen (1.5 mbits) and an iPod ready MP4 download. All downloads are for full length scenes only.

Videos can be streamed online instantly in the embedded Flash video player here as well. The playback quality is great and there is even an HD setting to pick for the player. It won't look as good as the download, but does look great, especially for streaming video.

There were a good number of picture galleries at Wicked as well. You can browse through these galleries online or save the galleries as zip-archives to explore on your hard drive. The photos are professional and look good but aren't very large, most with just a 600x800 resolution.

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

Wicked Pictures has been busy in 2012 updating and improving their website. Since our visit in 2011 they've made two big changes: the new 1080p HD video format and the improvement of their members area. They've added a powerful search tool that seems to work pretty well at digging out results for you when you use model names or niches (like big tits, anal sex, etc). You can still browse models, DVD, or scenes separately and sort the results by date or popularity.

The upgraded search feature is a nice addition, but it isn't enough yet. The site is so large that a better set of tools is still needed - categories would be the first and most obvious request, I think. Rather than guessing if the search tool delivered accurate results or not, it'd be nice to have a drop down menu or something where you can pick the primary niche of the content you are looking for, and get a list of scenes or DVDs that match.

But the navigation here is pretty good, to be honest. It's just hard not to want it to be better, since everything else on the site is really top quality. The porn itself, the download and streaming options, and the extras, too. You get access to thousands of bonus videos, as well as behind the scenes footage and live sex shows with their models - which include interactive chats during the action. Past live shows can be streamed online as well if you want to catch up on what you've missed.
