Joymii is a very unique site. It's hardcore, but it's not like other porn sites you've been to. The women here aren't porn stars, to start. They are erotica or glamour models, babes, all natural and really beautiful. They aren't treated like porn stars either. The sex here isn't about domination, roughness, or treating the girls like living fuck toys, it's rather about passion, intimacy, touch and ecstasy.

That isn't to say it is watered down, because it isn't. They just approach the sex from a different worldview. You'll find picture galleries can be viewed or downloaded (the galleries compressed into zip files) at a few resolutions, the largest being a "poster-sized" 4000x2667 pixels. These are gorgeous photographs, and at this size you'll notice every detail. I have one complaint about the images though - the way you browse them is not very efficient. I would really have preferred a more traditional gallery approach than the existing one which doesn't let you view the entire image if you choose a resolution that is higher than your screen's resolution.

The movies can be saved as 720p HD WMV or MP4 files. Both provide 1280x720 screens for viewing and bit rates that average 3.5 Mbits/s. Standard definition downloads are available in both formats as well, with 640x360 screens and 1.5 Mbits/s bit rates. There are also formats for portable devices.

Any movie can be streamed online instantly as well. It will play in a Flash video format embedded into the members area. It has a 570x380 screen and looks about the same quality as the SD downloads; very clear, very crisp.

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

Joymii is a whole new class of porn site. It isn't your typical hardcore fuck-and-go. It isn't your reserved nude art site, either. It is something perfectly balanced in the middle. The content here delivers something sensual and passionate, but at the same time deeply satisfying on more physical levels. They really capture the intimacy of the sex, of the touching and licking, of the penetration, in a manner that is tasteful and wholly sexy.

With the exception of the gallery browsing, the site is executed perfectly in this vision, right down to the media options they provide for viewing. Everything looks sharp and clear, allowing you to enjoy the special attention that went into the arrangements, the lighting, and the way the camera moves, almost like it's yet another lover in the scene. In many episodes I had an almost tactile experience watching the movies, as if I were there.

Like I mentioned already, there is one weak area and that is the site's design for browsing. You sift through thumbnails of updates. There are no model indexes or search tools beyond that. No categories. It's a very small issue that doesn't interfere too much, though, and is easy to forgive.
