The Life Erotic describes itself perfectly on the tour, and I found that every gallery or video I downloaded or viewed lived up to the site's mantra of explicit and edgy erotica. The last part of that promise, that it is erotica, remains true in all content. There is a real attention to detail in the photos and movies -- great settings, textures, interesting lighting and color, and of course a great use of the girl's body.

The sex is a big part of things as well. If you've wanted something more explicit then nude posing from your erotica sites, that's exactly what they are trying to offer you. Closeups of pussy, girls fingering themselves until cream and juices and dripping from them, girls touching and licking other girls. There is no boy-girl sex. There is a certain degree of restraint, as the girls are quite coy and seductive in how they touch and play with themselves, and of course the photographers are always making sure the lines of their bodies and the lighting are working in their favor, making the self-love artistic on other levels as well.

Often the smaller 720p HD WMV and MP4 downloads looked sharper, even having similar bit rates at smaller 1280x720 screens. Running times average 5-10 minutes. You can stream the 720p HD files but not in a Flash player. Downloads are for the full length movie only, no clips.

Picture galleries come in multiple size settings for browsing or for download. Each gallery can be saved in a compressed zip file. The largest setting offers 2000x3000 pixel resolutions. These provide ample detail. Galleries varied in size, most have around 100 pictures or more though.

Small Talk and Personal Opinion

The Life Erotic was a big success because it does a great job delivering what it promised. The edgy erotica here does manage to live comfortably in both worlds, providing artistic and erotic value, while at the same time able to push things further and offer more explicit shots and masturbation.

The site is simple to use and generally fast, but there were areas for improvement. An embedded Flash streaming option for the full length scene would be nice for videos, as well as a more polished 1080p HD version, which sometimes lacked the pop and clarity of the smaller resolution files. The models can be browsed by name and headshot, but they could go further and give us some model details as well.

Overall the site is a very nice pick though, making sure members don't get bored by updating with 2 new galleries every 3-4 days. Once a week the second gallery is replaced with a new HD video.
